For the past 100 plus years, our employees have been our most valuable assets.  We believe that every person is entitled to a safe and healthy place in which to work.

Establishment and maintenance of a safe working environment is the shared responsibility between management and employees at all levels of the  organization. To this end, every reasonable effort is made in achieving the goal of accident prevention and health preservation.

Our philosophy is oriented toward affirmative control and minimization of risk to the greatest extent possible. We believe that we have a basic responsibility to make the safety of our employees a part of our concern.  We also count on employees to do their part in making our safety program an  effective one.

For decades, Shine Bros. Corp. has continually maintained accident ratings that are far below our industry peers.  This is an achievement that we are extremely proud of and do not take for granted. You might ask -"How do you consistently achieve such safety ratings"? We do this in two ways. First, we are constantly training and educating our work force.  Safety training is conducted monthly on a wide variety of topics throughout the year and reinforced with weekly toolbox talks of additional topics.  Second, we empower each individual employee to identify unsafe working conditions and safety hazards and to take the necessary steps to reduce or eliminate these conditions or hazards.  This combination has proved to be highly effective in reducing the frequency and severity of accidents and is the secret to our safety success.
