Ferrous Processing and

Auto Shredder

With the addition of the automobile shredder to our equipment line in 2005, all ferrous scrap possible is processed through it.  It uses a 2500 horsepower motor that runs at 600 rpm, with more than 1,000 more horsepower in other motors driving the auxiliary equipment and conveyors.

The farming industry and the agri-businesses of Northern Iowa and the Midwest yield obsolete farm equipment. Local manufacturers also contribute scrap to Shine Bros. Corp., as well as a large dealer trade and citizens interested in recycling.
